How it works

Smaller files, same machine

Pages are rendered with PDF.js, encoded as JPEG, then rebuilt into a new PDF with pdf-lib.

Before you start

  • Scanned image-heavy PDFs compress the most.
  • Vector-only text PDFs may shrink less.
